Ingredients:
- - 400 grams of paneer, cut into cubes
- - 2 tablespoons ghee or vegetable oil
- - 1 large onion, finely chopped
- - 3-4 garlic cloves, minced
- - 1 tablespoon grated ginger
- - 2-3 green chilies, finely chopped (optional)
- - 2 large tomatoes, pureed
- - 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
- - 1 teaspoon coriander powder
- - 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
- - 1/2 teaspoon garam masala powder
- - 1/4 teaspoon red chili powder
- - 1 teaspoon sugar
- - 1/4 cup cream
- - Salt to taste
- - Fresh coriander leaves, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions:
1. Heat ghee or oil in a pan over medium heat. Add cumin seeds and let them splutter.
2. Add onions and sauté until golden brown.
3. Add garlic, ginger, and green chilies and sauté for another 2 minutes.

Add tomato puree, coriander powder, turmeric powder, red chili powder,
garam masala, and salt. Mix well and cook for 5-7 minutes until the
tomato puree is cooked and the oil starts to separate from the masala.
5. Add sugar and cream and mix well. Cook for another 2-3 minutes.
6. Add paneer cubes and mix gently. Simmer for 2-3 minutes until the paneer is heated through.
7. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves.
8. Serve hot with naan, roti, or rice.
